The media says that the race is neck and neck because that's what the national polls say. But it's not really neck and neck, and Romney has little chance of winning. National polls are no longer relevant. One only needs to look at the swing state polling, where Obama has big leads. Why is this so? Answer (it has to do with math).
But I think this is my last post on polling because Politico had a poll out today that says democrats' interest in voting is waning. Politico surmises that people think Obama's going to be re-elected, so they're not as interested in voting.
There are more registered democrats than republicans and if dems don't vote, then Mitt wins, regardless of how well Obama's doing in the polls.
