Republican voters should ask themselves why the republican answer for energy is always oil and gas. Hmmm. Could it be oil & gas industry practically own the GOP?
Republicans never talk about biofuels, wind, solar... They'll occasionally mention nuclear power, which Obama also supports, contrary to republican propaganda. Republicans will never weigh energy against the safety and health to people and the environment. They frown upon that as a liberal issue. They even go so far as to deny science. Republicans have been the same for decades. Their answer to every problem is lower taxes, fewer regulations, drill baby drill and bomb baby bomb.
