David Gregory does a pretty good job of pointing out Santorum's bad reasoning on Iran. Elect a republican get a war with Iran or some other country. When it comes to foreign policy, republicans simply don't have the diplomacy skills or the mindset to operate in the modern world, one that's undergoing serious shifts in volatile regions. It takes a chess player, not Rambo.
The GOP understand the world in an economic sense -- exploit cheap labor by exporting jobs and goods and such, but they're neanderthals in regard to international relations. Military might is always their best answer. The decision to wage war is a much easier decision for the GOP. Not so for the democrats.
The threat of war always looms under republican guard, especially the under current GOP crop.
