Chip Reid talks to people in Hawaii who don't realize that their paychecks would've been $40 less if the tax deal didn't go through. Only people from Canada knew and cared. On one hand, maybe ignorance is bliss. Or is it just ignorant? On the other hand, I kind of want to slap these people. I bet if Chip had asked people to name the vice president, there would be a lot of people who couldn't do that either.
