Media doesn't get it. Most people don't care about the Cain scandal. They haven't paid enough attention to know if it's true or not, and they don't want to know if it's true or not. People who want to vote for Herman Cain hate the media. Most people these days are disappointed in the media.
This is another example of how the media becomes rabid when it gets hold of potentially scandalous material. To me, it appears that the media is out to get Cain. Americans are sick of that kind of "journalism."
Don't get me wrong, though, Cain has no chance of being president, nor is he qualified.
