An update to the national meltdown about a photo: The White House says photos will NOT be released. The White House, CIA, military need to get in one room and get the story straight.
If bin Laden wasn't dead, it seems he would've made some sort of announcement. Besides, it would be awfully ballsy for the U.S. to say he was dead if he wasn't, considering he could pop up at any moment. So I'm wondering why so many people want to see photos as "proof."
Surely, Obama's birth certificate drama proved that irrational people with emotional reasons will believe whatever supports their belief system.
Panetta, by the way, already said a photo would be released. But once it's released, people will question its authenticity.
All this illogical reasoning led me to the conclusion that people just want to see bin Laden with a bullet in his head. It's a primal thing.
PS: There is a fake photo going around rapidly spreading a virus, so you might want to think twice before clicking on that OBL death photo.
