The MTP roundtable discusses yesterday's massacre. I'd like to see Obama and Boehner call a joint fireside chat in primetime. The nation could use a reminder that words have consequences and that we can disagree without being ugly and gross. Our leaders need to be leaders. The media could use a reminder that when they have no civility rules for their pundits, they reduce the conversation to idiocy. This nation has serious issues to address. We are seriously falling behind the rest of the world. Most of all, our kids need educated and yet we can't seem to get it together because we're all busy engaged in hating each other.
