I'm shocked at the number of people who have no concept of journalism. It's disheartening. It was flat out WRONG -- and slimy if you ask me -- for Keith Olbermann to call himself a journalist and contribute to democratic candidates, especially since he's a political journalist. Suspension was the correct course. Everyone is pointing to Fox to make their argument to un-suspend Olbermann. They say Fox broadcasters contribute to republicans all the time. Well, that's because it's Fox. Fox has a low bar on journalistic standards. Fortunately, Brooks and Shields, whom I respect (but not always agree with) say that suspension was the right course:
