One Nation Rally Focuses on Education, Immigration, Social Justice and Voting Nov. 2


This was heartening. I was surprised by the number of people who turned out. Even though CNN spotlighted Ed Schultz, he was the least interesting person speaking at the rally. I'm really bored of talking heads, left and right.
It was a handsome crowd too--so much diversity. See photos here.

It's interesting that even though the crowd count matched the recent angry fist shaking Glenn Beck-led tea party gathering (which probably put Beck's kids through college on book sales), there isn't a lot of coverage to be had on the One Nation March. People in a non hateful way and people carrying signs that say "hope not hate" and "support our president" just doesn't go over well with mainstream media.
Could it be that the media has been so caught up in the Palin-tea party bubble that they're dead wrong about the "enthusiasm gap?" Guess we'll find out on Nov. 2.
I'll post video should any arise. Right now there's just a lot of video from the haters, who spent their time today making video mocking the rally.
