Russia Halts Adoptions by U.S. Families

Update:
The U.S. State Department's consular affairs office, however, says it has confirmed with the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and the Russian Embassy in Washington that adoptions are still being processed. The office says there has been no suspension. MSNBC
Huh? That's not what Russia TV is reporting.
Russia wants a bilateral agreement on adoptions, as it rightly should. All of U.S. adoption laws and the way we treat foster children should be overhauled. We don't want people to have abortions but we treat the children that are given up for adoption poorly. We treat the pregnant teens who can't afford to keep their children poorly.
