Update April 22: ABC says Asheville is a place where regular people go on vacation. I'm not sure about the part, though, that says Obama wants to appeal to regular people. I thinks he would like to just BE a regular people as much as possible.

Asheville, North Carolina? Hmmm. Wonder what the significance is. Obama's go-to person Reggie Love is from North Carolina:
Obama was last in Asheville on Oct. 5, 2008, less than a month before the presidential election, for a rally at Asheville High, where he spoke to a crowd of about 28,000.

While in town, Obama got lunch at 12 Bones Smokehouse and prepared for a presidential debate at the Grove Park Inn.

Deborah Potter, spokeswoman for the Inn, said the hotel does not release any information about potential guests.

“The Grove Park Inn does not provide any information on prospective guests, either real or imagined,” she said.

During a century in business, the hotel has hosted 10 presidents. Asheville Citizen
