I don't think Obama is any of those. He doesn't think inside of a box or obey an ideology. He doesn't back himself into corners and he changes his mind when he needs to. He weighs situations not by ideology but by information. His values are humanistic, in that he cares for the least and the vulnerable, and he's oh so pragmatic, interested in meeting reality on the ground.
