Obama Reschedules Copenhagen for Dec. 18

President Barack Obama is pushing back his trip to Copenhagen in order to be at the international climate talks during the critical negotiating period.

The president was scheduled to attend the conference immediately before receiving his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo on Dec. 9th but changed his plans after decisions by China and India to curb greenhouse gases boosted the chances for real progress to be made at the talks.

He now plans to travel to the talks on Dec. 18. Politico
