Joe Lieberman Explains Himself

My problem with Joe Lieberman is his perceived self importance. He thrives on attention. Behind the scenes, he's been piling up his rocks for the big finale. He's not nearly as relevant as he thinks he is and he's not to blame for the demise of healthcare. People shouldn't be giving him that much credit.
Democrats are to blame. They just couldn't get it together.
Lieberman waited to forcefully speak out against the public option until it was no longer in play. He timed his pounce perfectly for his political well being. The fact is, most people don't know enough about healthcare, or care enough, to support it. Most Americans are against reform or doubt the government's ability to put an efficient system into place. This will have little effect on Lieberman's political career.
