Bye Bye Healthcare Compromise

Well, the idea to expand Medicare was short lived. For this you can thank Odd Man Out Joe Lieberman. But he's not fully to blame. I think healthcare is too daunting for this Congress to tackle in one fell swoop. Reform will have to come piecemeal. The left will be outraged at Obama for urging Harry Reid to compromise with Lieberman. I'm sure the public option trigger is still in play, or at least I hope so.
