As Obama Vacations Media Turns to Afghanistan

Well, it took the media long enough to turn it's attention away from the exciting death panels and violent disruptions at health care town halls.
While Obama vacations, the media had to figure out how to make itself useful, because Obama says he doesn't plan to make any news while visiting Martha's Vineyard.
So our dull media, alas, begins to pick apart Afghanistan. Another gift courtesy of George Bush, another gift that the republicans will flog Obama for.
Many Americans are clueless to what's going on in Afghanistan. Cindy Sheehan will be holding anti-war protests in Martha's Vineyard. Military commanders are making a public relations case for more troops.
Frankly, I wish we could pull ourselves out of Afghanistan but I don't think that's going to happen. On Morning Joe, Representative Anthony Weiner talks Afghanistan and health care:
