This segment of Meet the Press was fascinating (see the other segments
here). David Gregory asked Robert Gates, defense secretary: what are the differences between Obama and Bush? Gates, who looked like he did some immediate censoring, said Obama is more analytical. Obama asks for everyone's input and if people don't offer it, Obama calls on them. Bush, on the other hand, didn't go out of his way to get input. Smart vs. ideology.
Also, we'll probably see someone take Gates' place within Obama's first term. Gates appears ready for some R & R and book writing.
