I know I shouldn't lump them all together. There are some who are actually working on the stimulus and not sitting down for interviews and TV shows, taking whacks at Obama.
Gibbs says Obama's tone, which has become more pointed, is justified. Yes, it is, because Obama's working on behalf of the people and the republicans still seem to be stuck on themselves. Their strategy is pretty transparent.
AP: Obama sharpened his rhetoric while addressing House Democrats in Virginia on Thursday. He appeared to be sending a message to Republicans as he warned against turning back to the policies of the last eight years and insisted that voters chose a new course in November.
Spokesman Robert Gibbs says Obama is simply "fighting on behalf of" the 3.6 million Americans who've lost jobs since the start of the recession.
