Two Maryland Superdelegates Endorse Obama

that's three today for obama so far, one for hillary. the superdelegate tally: 253 obama, 269 hillary.
The chairman and vice-chairman of the Maryland Democratic Party Michael Cryor and Lauren Glover are throwing their support behind Sen. Barack Obama on the eve of Tuesday's primaries in Indiana and North Carolina, giving the Illinois senator at least two additional superdelegates.

Maryland Democratic officials said this morning that a few more of the state's uncommitted superdelegates -- including state Del. Heather R. Mizeur of Montgomery County -- could also announce their decisions today.

A 2:30 p.m. news conference at the University of Maryland is being scheduled for the announcement, which will feature former Maryland Gov. Parris N. Glendening. Glendening had first backed New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, but was chosen as an add-on superdelegate committed to Obama at a state party meeting last weekend.
