i heard a heartwarming story on npr. an obama canvasser was out in a rural neighborhood in indiana and said people there didn't know whether obama was democratic or republican. he was just the guy they were excited to vote for first thing this morning. obama won over a lot of first time voters. i remember a time when i didn't know the difference between a democrat and a republican.
obama gave a gracious speech of unity. hillary is giving her speech of winning (indiana hasn't been called yet--too close). she insisted that michigan and florida get counted. go ahead and count them, i say. you still lose.
and hillary was the clear loser tonight, no matter how she spins it.
thank you north carolina and thank you indiana for showing that all white working class aren't bigoted. i was starting to get a little concerned about us.
